Questions about the tours

1.     Do the tours run despite bad weather conditions?

Yes, our tours will still run in all weather conditions unless it becomes dangerous or unsafe to do so.

2.     Is there a maximum or minimum number of people allowed on a tour?

Our tours run at a maximum of 20x people per-tour. If you are wanting to arrange a group tour of more than 20x people, you can contact us via e-mail or telephone and we can discuss the possibilities of this.

3.     What languages are the tours offered in?

All tours are provided in English.

4.     Can children attend the tours?

There is no age limit on the tours so children are welcome to attend, however please bare in mind that the tour can last around 2 hours 30 minutes so younger children may tire as there are no breaks during the tour.

5.     Can I join the tours halfway?

Our tours will always start at the advertised time. We advise that you arrive 10 minutes before the start time as we are unable to wait for any latecomers. If you are delayed, contact us via telephone before the departure time of the tour and we can recommend a location to join the tour further down the tour route. No refunds will be given if this occurs.

6.     Are the tours accessible?

The tour is wheelchair accessible; however please bare in mind that some roads may cover difficult terrain such as cobbled floors and steep inclines. The distance of the tour is approximately 2.6 miles and it should last around 2 hours 30 minutes.  If you require specific details regarding the tour or would like us to arrange a tour bespoke to your access requirements, then feel free to contact us via e-mail or telephone.

7.     Is there anything extra to pay once I have purchased the tour?

Once you have purchased your tickets for the tour then you are good to go! If you would like to bring any food and snacks along with you be sure to purchase these before the tour as there will not be any time to stop and purchase anything once the tour is underway.

8.     Does the tour include entrance fees to the places of interest?

The tour does not include entrance fees to any locations en route. All places of interest which charge an entrance fee must be purchased separately and attended at another time.

9.     What time do I need to show up for my tour?

We suggest that you show up 10 minutes before the start of your tour. The tour will depart at the scheduled time even if you are yet to arrive, so give yourself plenty of time to arrive to avoid disappointment.

10. How long is my tour?

The tour lasts approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. This may vary slightly depending on the walking speed of the group. The distance is approximately 2.6 miles.

11. How do I find the starting point of my tour?

The tour begins in Williamson Square, just outside of the Playhouse Theatre. It is a short walk from Lime Street & Central Train Stations and it is around the corner from the base of the Radio City tower.

12. Where does my tour end?

The tour concludes on the steps of St. George’s Hall which is directly opposite Lime Street Station.  

 

Questions about bookings

1.     Do I need to book a tour in advance?

We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Tickets may not be available to purchase on the actual day of the tour so booking in advance is always recommended.

2.     How do I book a tour online?

To book online simply head to our ‘Tours’ page of the website. Find the date and time which you would like to attend and click on that event. You then need to select the amount of tickets you would like to purchase. Once you have added the tickets to your order you click on the shopping cart in the top-right corner of the page which will direct you to the payment page. Here you can select your method of payment and confirm your order details. Once you have purchased your tour, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and then you’re good to go!

3.     How do I book a private tour?

If you cannot find a tour date/time which suits you then feel free to contact us via e-mail or telephone and we can discuss the possibility of a private tour/group bookings

4.     How far in advance can I book a tour?

Most tours will be available to purchase at least 3 months in advance from April 2018.

5.     How can I reschedule or cancel my tour?

All tickets for the tour are non-refundable, however we can reschedule the date of the tour to any others which have availability if more than 48 hours notice has been given.

6.     Can I book a tour for somebody else?

You can book a tour for somebody else however the date will have to be selected in advance. Alternatively you can purchase a gift voucher, which allows the person receiving the voucher to select their own date to attend the tour at a time that is most convenient for them. All gift vouchers must be used within 1 year since the original purchase date.
